Redesign

[ #60024 ]
Thursday January 29 2004, @09:43AM
Apache

I got bored the last couple of days, and redesigned my website, as well as shifting it from Blosxom to Movable Type, because I was annoyed by the lack of support for XML-RPC.

[Update: You probably want to use a real browser to view it... the CSS layout is a little (understatement!) crappy under IE.]

  • Is MoveableType all it's cracked up to be? Any looming security issues?
    • Not that I can tell - it's certainly high profile enough that any issues that do get found will be fixed fairly sharpish, and it's backed by a real company, which is always nice.

I certainly like the interface, and the templating language they have is (in my opinion) really nice - I like using HTML tags to define my templates :)

  • ... but it didn't work.

Error: "blogs.jellybob.co.uk could not be found. Please check name and try again".

Not saying anything, my DNS server could have problems.
